Provenienti dal cuore verde dell'Abruzzo, i TURBOMATT sono portatori sani di pace psichedelica sul pianeta Terra dal 2007. Il loro garage desert rock cinematicobatte sentieri magici percorrendo paesaggi malinconici, fughe astrali e sogni che hanno il sapore del vino rosso.
Una chitarra essenziale, un basso profondo ed una batteria groovy bastano ai tre per creare un'esperienza sonora primitiva e distorta, la nascita di una nuova colonna sonora per un film visionario, un passaggio nel deserto alla ricerca di una tangibile, profonda rinascita emotiva.
Autori di uno psych rock strumentale che incrocia garage, boogie e rock'n'roll, iTURBOMATT riportano in auge lo spirito sfrenato e mai domo dei pionieri del genere (Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground, Funkadelic) innestandolo sulle basi di un suono moderno, sfaccettato e multiforme, che attualizza la lezione di Sonic Youth, Yawning Man e Colour Haze. Un congegno che funziona alla perfezione, che suscitaemozioni robotico desertiche con un approccio minimale, una produzione avvolgente ed una forza compositiva travolgente.
Turbo Ex (chitarre), Turbo Fra (basso) e Turbo Mark (batteria) hanno debuttato nel 2009 con il primo album omonimo, stampato in 50 copie fatte a mano, come il successivo Own Demon (2010), altra autoproduzione acclamata da pubblico e critica. Registrato, mixato e masterizzato allo StratoStudio da Ivan D’Antonio, il nuovo Soul Elevation è il terzo anello di una catena che non accenna a spezzarsi. Il disco uscira' il 30 ottobre per ExLab Records (ELR 01), sempre in formato CD handmade ed in vinile edizione limitata in 200 copie. Soul Elevation e' un viaggio profondo nelle radici di una musica senza tempo. Vibrazioni proto punk e blues si susseguono a sfrenate cavalcate surf e lisergici impulsi hard. I TURBOMATT attingono da un immaginario d'antan, un feeling cinematico che va da Ennio Morricone ai Massive Attack, dalla musica contemporanea all'immaginazione, lo humor, le melodie e le corde piu nascoste dell'animo umano.

Hailing from Italy’s green heart of Abruzzi, cinematic garage desert rockers TURBOMATT have waged psychedelic peace on the world with their tales of astro escapes, red wine dreams and melancholic landscapes since 2007.
Three-stringed guitar, two-stringed low bass & evil drums for a primitive and distorted experience, the birth of a new soundtrack to a visionary film, standing in a desert looking for a remarkable emotional reach. TURBOMATT’s psych instrumental garage boogie rock'n'roll sweet ruckus brings the relentless spirit of the genre’s pioneers like Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground and Funkadelic into modern age colossus (Sonic Youth, Yawning Man, Colour Haze) with super slick, robotic & desert feelings, minimalistic approach and loud production and a foundation-leveling sonic beating.
Formed by Turbo Ex on guitars, Turbo Fra on bass and Turbo Mark on drums, the band debuted in 2009 with a 50-run CD pressing of Turbomatt and in 2010 returned with the acclaimed self-produced Own Demon.
